Kenya
LifeBread and the Kenyan Association in Sydney have joinedhands together to raise funds for the poor and displaced people in Kenya. Kenya already had a problem with the Aids disease and many families were without breadwinners. The latest conflict in Kenya has left many people much worse off than before. The President of the Kenyan Association, Mr Karl Daniels, says Kenya needs prayers and tangible support at this time. At a recent event in Sydney, more than one thousand dollars was raised to send a container load of supplies including clothes and food items to the western province of Kenya.
